I’m not sure which pictures you are making reference to.
Buster’s eyes seem to be a hazel/dark greenish hue to me. I recall reading that someone claimed his eye color to be a deep midnight blue; but they look rather a deep gold/green color in the colored photos I’ve seen. His eyes were stunning no matter what color. :)

I think Eleanor definitively answered that Buster’s eyes were hazel. That color pic from “Forum” definitely has a David Bowie effect, doesn’t it? In some of his earlier pics, his eyes look almost golden. Oh to have seen them in real life!
